General Terms and Conditions of “Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” for riding vacations in Portugal
§1 Scope of application
These general terms and conditions are valid for the riding holidays between the individual company
“Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” (consisting of the management Sonja Tedesco and the course leader David Rafael Almeida Olsansky) and the customers. The contract between the participant and “Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” comes into effect with the payment of the course fee. The customer accepts with his consent these general terms and conditions for the contractual relationship with “Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” from the payment of the invoice.
§2 Number of participants
The number of participants is limited. The place will be reserved in the order of receipt of payment.
§3 Registrations
Registrations are accepted in writing by e-mail to info@almeida-lusitanos.ch.
The registration is binding. If the participant is unable to attend, he/she must provide a replacement on his/her own initiative. The course costs will be charged to “Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco”. In case of non-appearance of the riding students, it is a cancellation/cancellation untimely, therefore the full course costs will be charged in the sense of a lump-sum compensation claim. If an event is terminated prematurely by the participant, there is no right to a refund of the remaining amount.
§4 Conduct of the riding lessons
The riding lessons will take place at the riding facility on the horses provided by David Rafael Almeida Olsansky. The place of the riding lessons is determined according to the advertised course of “Almeida- Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” with the customer. The instructor David Rafael Almeida Olsansky decides about the sportive classification of the students and the content of the lesson, taking into account the rider’s and health aspects. The riding horses are determined by him. If possible/suitable, horse wishes will be taken into consideration. The instructor reserves the right to warm up the horses himself/herself before the beginning of the lesson. A delay of 15 minutes until the beginning of the lesson is therefore possible. Riding students must be at the riding facility 10 minutes before the lesson starts. The instructor has the authority to give instructions during lessons. Riding may be prohibited if the riding student does not comply.
§5 Behavior on the riding facility
No one is allowed to lead and/or groom a horse out of the box or run, as well as from the pasture, without prior permission from an authorized person. The horses will be judged in consultation with the team of the Almeida- Lusitanos.ch. Unauthorized persons are not allowed to enter the premises. Feeding the horses without consultation with the riding instructor is prohibited.
§6 Equipment
All riders are obliged to wear a riding helmet. It is compulsory for all riders to wear suitable shoes with a small heel. We also recommend that all riders wear appropriate clothing.
§7 Fee
The fee is to be paid in advance. The price is determined by the current price list. The riding lessons will be given on the date agreed upon in advance between “Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” and the customer. The manager strives to coordinate all the requests for appointments in the interest of her clients. This also requires that the customer informs the manager immediately if he/she is prevented from keeping the appointment during the current course. If this information does not take place at least 24 hours before the agreed upon, timed appointment within the current course, “Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” reserves the right to cancel the riding lesson and to charge the full fee.
If “Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” David Rafael Almeida Olsansky cancels a lesson, the cancelled lesson will be made up by him within the current riding course. If this cannot be guaranteed by the instructor, the participant is entitled to a refund of the fee paid in advance, unless an alternative date is agreed between the parties

§8 Liability Entering the yard and riding are at your own risk. This applies to riding in the riding arena, during rides in the countryside as well as during all other riding events for which the riding company is responsible. The legal guardians are not released from their supervisory and liability obligations. David Rafael Almeida Olsansky is liable within the scope of the company’s liability insurance only for intent and gross negligence in his function as course instructor. Any liability beyond this is excluded. For personal property of the riding students “Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” does not assume any liability. Damages caused by gross mischief or negligent handling will be paid by the causer. Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” is not liable for any accidents, losses or damages of any kind.
§9 Insurance
An accident insurance must be taken out independently from “Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco”.
The liability insurance when using other horses is the responsibility of the course participants; when riding in the hall this is not necessary.
§10 Privacy policy
“Almeida-Lusitanos.ch S.Tedesco” is aware that the protection of your privacy when using our websites is an important concern. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Therefore, we want you to know when we store which data and how we use them. We would therefore like to inform you about our data protection measures with this data protection declaration.
Collection of data
We will only use the personal data we collect from you to provide you with the products or services you have requested, or for other purposes for which you have given your consent, unless otherwise required by law.
Collection and processing of personal data
Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us voluntarily, e.g. as part of registration, by filling out forms or sending e-mails, as part of ordering products or services, making inquiries or requesting material. Your e-mail address will be used for our newsletter, and you will have the opportunity to unsubscribe from each newsletter immediately.
Image material
We reserve the right to publish pictures from events and riding lessons on our website. If you do not agree, please let us know so that we can remove them from the website or make them unrecognizable.
